AACC PNW hosts Sundowner with WA Governor’s office

AACC Pacific Northwest held a joint Sundowner networking event in partnership with the Office of Washington Governor Jay Inslee on Tuesday 24 October.

Business and government leaders came together ahead of Washington’s upcoming Study and Trade Mission to Australia in November.

First Mode graciously hosted the event at its downtown Seattle HQ, and several members of the trade delegation were in attendance.

The last trade mission to Australia took place in 2006, led by Washington Governor Christine Gregoire. The upcoming mission (November 1-11) will focus on developing formal ties between Australia and Washington state, as well as paving the way for new business and trade opportunities.

Governor Inslee also pre-recorded a personal video message for members of the trade mission at the Sundowner, and expressed his thanks to AACC Pacific Northwest. President Martin Gorman will be joining the trade delegation to Australia in November.

The Chamber extends its thanks to Governor Inslee and his office, as well as First Mode, for their partnership in hosting the event.
