Celebrating the end of summer at the Kangaroo & Kiwi

AACC Pacific Northwest members and friends at the Kangaroo & Kiwi pub in Ballard.

The local Aussie community in Seattle turned out for AACC Pacific Northwest’s second End of Summer BBQ on Sunday 27 August.

Around 60 people gathered for a classic sausage sizzle at the Kangaroo & Kiwi, Seattle’s iconic Aussie pub. Both AACC Pacific Northwest members and new friends joined us for the BBQ and warm weather.

Lucky raffle winners took home a large meat tray (valued at $240), a trio of 2014 Australian wines (valued at $130), a gift card from the Australian Pie Co. (valued at $30), and branded merchandise from the Kangaroo & Kiwi (priceless).

Many thanks to Brad Howe, owner of the Kangaroo & Kiwi, for cooking up a storm for the group, along with his staff. And thank you to all the people that joined us for the BBQ – as ever, we appreciate your support!
