Local Australians and New Zealanders came together to enjoy great weather, food and company at the joint Seattle Down Under Summer Picnic at Tukwila Community Center on Saturday 15 July.

AACC Pacific Northwest partnered with the New Zealanders of Seattle & Seattle Christchurch Sister City Association to host the event.

Attendees enjoyed a variety of pies and sausage rolls from local expat favorite, the Australian Pie Co. in Burien, as well as potluck goodies and desserts.

Kids and adults alike also partook in a variety of games, including a water balloon toss, tug-of-war competition and a lolly scramble.
